BIOGRAPHY of CARYN COLGAN

Caryn Colgan writes books, facilitates workshops and creates art that encourages humankind to "remember what you are" while becoming more guardian-like in our treatment of others and our planet home.

Caryn Colgan earned a Master of Science in Accounting degree from Texas A & M University in 1984, joined the firm of Ernst & Young as a tax consultant before moving on to a private firm.

In 1991, after almost ten years as a corporate tax consultant and CPA, Caryn began her present career as an international speaker and workshop facilitator. She has conducted team-building and diversity awareness workshops for:

• Anti-Defamation League
• National Conference for Community and Justice.

• McKinsey & Company
• McDonnell Douglas (Boeing)
• Ralston Purina
• MCI
• Monsanto
• Many others

Topics included management and interpersonal communication skills, conflict resolution, and goal achievement.

She is a Certified Toastmaster. In 1998 she completed the mentoring program with the National Speakers Association.

She is also the author of Ancient Pact, Volume 1: The Element of Air and the related ReMember: Deck One Spiritual Contemplation Cards.

Forthcoming books include Ancient Pact, Volume 2: The Element of Water, Volume 3: The Element of Earth, and Volume 4: The Element of Fire. The related journals, discussion and greeting cards, and book pouches will follow each book’s publication. The Ancient Pact, ReMember: Deck One - Spiritiual Contemplation Cards were released August 2008.

Caryn resides in Reno, Nevada where she is an active volunteer for Conscious Community Campaign and Soroptimist International. She currently writes full-time, delivers occasional workshops, and speaks on her latest topics, “Lessons of the Ancient Council” and “Accelerating Karma.”

Her goal is to accelerate karma globally, reunite the ancient tribe of guardians, and renew the pact: "Our mission is to be guardians of all life and to never do harm unless necessary for survival." While acknowledging the immensity of these objectives her attitude is, "Working toward change is better than complaining about the way things are and doing nothing about it. "
